Containing a large amount of iodine and polyunsaturated fatty acids, it is an essential source of protein and vitamins for the human body. Nevertheless it, even such a useful product can be potentially dangerous to health.
The fact is that sometimes eating fish can be dangerous. This happens in case the fish has been caught in the pond, which has a high level of pollution.
Studies show that fish, which has long been floating in dirty water, accumulates in their muscle tissue a variety of toxins and hazardous substances. Eating such fish as food, they are often not blocked by our immune system, therefore, pose a greater threat.
Less dangerous in this sense, marine fish, as in the seas of the concentration of harmful substances is always much lower.
